Nigel King

Partner. Has been with the firm since 1976. Deals with a number of local companies and businesses with property interests as well as Wills and Probate for private clients, commercial and residential conveyancing, Landlord and Tenant, general commercial work and partnerships.


Eddie Dervish

Partner.  Eddie has been with the firm since 1988 and has been a partner since 1995. Eddie has a wide client base of UK and international clients consisting of both individual and corporate clients.  Areas of speciality are civil litigation, Landlord and Tenant, commercial/residential conveyancing and company work. Eddie has three reported cases, details of which are contained in the press/links page.


Michelle White

Michelle joined our firm in 1999 as a trainee solicitor and qualified in 2001. She specialises in civil litigation, property litigation, landlord and tenant and insurance litigation. Michelle left the firm 2003 and worked with a number of other north London and Hertfordshire firms before returning to Hugh-Jones & Co as a consultant in 2007.  Michelle has a 2:1 LLB honours degree and completed the legal practice course at London Guildhall University with a commendation and with distinctions in advocacy, corporate governance, civil litigation and commercial property. Prior to attending university, Michelle worked for three years as an assistant underwriter at Lloyds. Michelle speaks fluent Italian and conversational Spanish and French.

 

Nick Del-Vecchio

Legal Executive. Nick is a fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives and specialises exclusively in civil litigation. Nick has been with the firm since 2003.


Handan Ozbek

Trainee Solicitor. Handan completed her degree at the London Metropolitan University with a 2:1 degree before completing her Legal Practice Course at the College of Law. She is being trained in Residential and commercial conveyancing, civil litigation and wills and probate. Handan joined the firm in 2007.


Elaine Willmont

Conveyancing Executive. Has been with the firm since 1996 and assists Eddie Dervish.


Sarah Sawyer

Personal assistant to Eddie Dervish and has been with us since 1997. Sarah is also the firm’s Licensing Executive and undertakes all types of licensing work.


Birshen Aktan

Personal Assistant to Nigel King and has been with the firm since 2000. Also undertaking the Licensed Conveyancing Course.


Samantha Philippou

Secretary. Has been with the firm since 2001.


Haltan Hassan

Conveyancing Assistant. Also undertaking the Licensed Conveyancing Course. Has been with the firm since 2006.
